Doug Smith (Chairman)
Doug first moved to Little Ouseburn in 1987 although moved to Green Hammerton for a brief spell before returning.  He is the owner and Managing Director of an insurance brokerage in Boroughbridge.  Married with two children, he is a keen motorsport enthusiast and participator.  He is also a great supporter of the village open gardens

Russ Harrison (Vice Chair)Russ lives just outside the village, near Kirby Hall and is married with two young children.  He moved there in 2007 and follows his father-in-law, Mr Crowther, who had previously served the village as a parish councillor.  Russ owns and runs an antique business at Kirk Hammerton.

Caroline Bligh
Caroline is married with three children and moved to Little Ouseburn in 2001. This is her second time as a parish councillor for the village. Caroline has also been on LO PCC and was school governor at two of the local schools. She has enjoyed being involved in various fundraising roles in local schools and set up and ran a children's activity club. Caroline has worked in retailing, sales and marketing and been a garden designer and garden room designer. Register of Interests

Sarah Greensit
Sarah is the fourth generation of her family to live in Little Ouseburn.  She first moved to the village in 1981 and now lives in the house owned by her great grandfather.  Sarah works locally in the insurance industry and is a partner of Ouseburn Logs.  She is married with one son.

Nicholas Orr
Nicholas Orr lives in and represents Thorpe Underwood on the Parish Council.  He has lived there since 1999 having moved to Yorkshire from Scotland.  He is employed as a recruitment consultant and has a strong interest in rural, farming and countryside issues.  He is married with two grown up children. Clerk to the Parish Council: Amanda Kennerley
Amanda lives in Knaresborough but was brought up in Kirk Hammerton. She used to be relief postwoman at Great Ouseburn PO before she was married so knows the village well. Married with three grown up boys, she is a part-time librarian at St John Fisher's Catholic High School in Harrogate.
