The next meeting of the Parish Council will be held via Zoom. Agenda will be placed here nearer the date.
A warm welcome to our residents, to visitors of our rural and unspoilt area of North Yorkshire and to online visitors.
This website serves as a focal access point and notice board for the passage of information, activities and responsibilities of the Parish Council.
VILLAGE GATES
Following the installation of the village gates by the Parish Council, many people have commented that speeds of vehicles seem to have been reduced. Many thanks to County Councillor Andy Paraskos for his significant contribution to both sets of gates. The Parish Council hope you are pleased with the gates and have noted the benefits they appear to have brought. A new village sign will be installed on the approach from Great Ouseburn in the near future.

Your Parish Councillors
The Parish is represented by four councillors who are subject to election every four years.
A Chairman and a Vice-Chairman are elected annually and the council also employs a part-time Parish Clerk.
